What are the “Little Creators”?

A workshop where the “useless” becomes treasure.

The “Little Creators” is my vision for a creative activity like no other. Guided by my years of experience in preschool education, I designed workshops where children come into contact with natural and recyclable materials (Zero Waste).

Through hands-on learning, children don’t just learn a technique, but discover the power their hands have to transform the world.

Constructions from “Nothing”

We transform threads, buttons and leftover materials into unique works of art.

They experiment with textures, colors and materials from nature, developing their creative and critical thinking.

The experience is personal. With 5-6 people per group, we ensure that each creator receives the attention and guidance they need.

Workshops Experience

Ages & Workshops (For children 9+ years old)

We divide our classes based on developmental stage (with emphasis on ages 9+ years) to ensure the best and most advanced learning experience.

Our Workshop Menu:

Sewing

  • Learning & using a sewing machine
  • What is a pattern and how does it work
  • I sew my own skirt / blouse
  • I dress my notebook with fabric
  • I make fabric flowers & hair ribbons
  • “Give new life to your old jeans”: Upcycling & custom designs

Knitting

  • I knit an animal coaster or flower
  • I dress my notebook with knitting
  • I knit a case for glasses, pencils, or a small bag
  • With crochet I change the style of one of my clothes
  • Guerrilla Knitting: We knit and connect old knits to dress up an armchair!

Embroidery

  • I learn traditional stitches
  • “Guess which one”: Icebreaker games getting to know the stitches
  • I embroider my name in a hoop
  • I paint, embroider, and knit on an old t-shirt
  • I embroider a shirt, pants, sleeves, cuffs, or pant legs
  • I create an embroidered bookmark (braid)
  • I dress and decorate my favorite book

Painting & Upcycling

  • Upcycling: I use every fabric I no longer need and give a new purpose to items for disposal (e.g., boxes)
  • “A shoebox… how many ideas?”
  • Painting with decoupage technique on jars for spoon sweets
  • Painting on wood and stones
  • Color theory and introduction to specialized materials
